12th Annual Real Estate Challenge Final Presentations | April 23 | Wintrust Chicago (231 S LaSalle St) Eleven teams from across the nation have been tasked with creating a master development plan to reimagine Johnny's IceHouse East, the former home of the Chicago Blackhawks' practice rink. The site has the potential for adaptive reuse of the existing structure or ground-up development. Student teams will be tasked with proposing a development plan that is economically viable and complements the unique uses surrounding the site. |

Eisenberg Research Scholar Identifies Potential Target for Pancreatic Cancer Investigators Mario A. Shields, ’12 PhD, and Hidayatullah G. Munshi, MD, have discovered a protein that could lead to new pancreatic cancer therapies. Dr. Munshi was awarded the prestigious Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Research Scholar Award in 2020-2021, which allows scientists to explore novel ideas aimed at discovering cures for gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. We are thrilled to support this breakthrough GI cancer research! |
